BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIP BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. butter
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
3 tbsp. milk
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/2 c. chopped black walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 F. Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add egg and beat again. Set aside. Combine bananas and milk in small bowl. Stir by hand into creamed mixture alternately with the banana mixture until flour is just moistened. Stir in chocolate morsels and black walnuts. Butter a 9x5x3 inch bread pan. Turn batter into pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on rack.
