FUDGE-TOPPED BROWNIES | |
1 c. butter (melted) 2 c. sugar 1 c. unsifted flour 2/3 c. cocoa 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs 1/2 c. milk 3 tsp. vanilla extract 1 c. chopped nuts 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 (14 oz.) can (Eagle) sweetened condensed milk Preheat oven at 350 degrees. In large bowl combine butter, sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, eggs, milk and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Beat well. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 13x9 pan. Bake 40 minutes or until brownies pull away from pan. In heavy saucepan over low heat, melt chips and condensed milk and remaining 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over hot brownies. Cool and chill. Cut into bars. Store at room temperature. |
