SWEET CARROTS WITH DILL OR BASIL 
16 carrots
3 tbsp. butter
Dill seed or basil
1-2 tbsp. maple syrup
Salt and pepper to taste

Cut carrots in diagonal slices; steam or boil 10 minutes in large saucepan. Drain. Add butter, syrup, salt and pepper and your choice of dill seed or basil. Simmer 10 or 15 minutes more until carrots are tender. Delicious! Serves 4.
