DILLY BEANS 
2 lbs. green beans

Wash and pack in pint jars leaving 1/2 inch headspace.

To each pint add: 1 clove garlic 1 head dill

BRINE:

1/2 c. salt
2 1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. vinegar

Bring to a boil. Pour over beans leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Process in water bath 10 minutes for both pints and quarters. If the beans shrivel after processing, don't worry, they will plump in a couple weeks. Makes about 4-6 pints.
