CHOCOLATE CHIP PAN COOKIES 
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. sour cream or 1 stick butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
6 oz. choc. chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. With mixer beat shortening and sugar until creamy. Add eggs. Beat well. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together, add to egg mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Pat in 10 x 15 pan. Bake 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Put under broiler to brown. Cut into bars while warm.
