VERY MOIST COCONUT CAKE 
3 sticks butter
2 1/4 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 (7 oz.) can coconut
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sweet milk
2 tsp. coconut flavoring

Cream eggs, sugar and butter together for 10 minutes. Sift baking powder, flour and salt together. Add to creamed mixture. Begin mix with flour and end with flour. Add coconut flavoring.

Cold oven, bake at 325 degrees for approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes in a tube pan.

ICING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
2 tbsp. butter

Mix ingredients together and bring to boil for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add 2 teaspoons coconut flavoring. Pour over hot cake; leave in pan until cold.
