CHOW MEIN 
2 c. celery, sliced diagonally
1 lg. onion, chopped in lg. pieces
1 c. green pepper, chopped (optional)
2 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. cornstarch
4 tbsp. soy sauce
2 c. chicken broth
2 c. cubed meat (chicken or beef)
1 can bean sprouts
1 can water chestnuts, sliced
1 can bamboo shoots

Saute celery, onions and green pepper in oil. Mix together cornstarch, soy sauce and chicken broth. Add to vegetables and cook until thick. Add remaining ingredients and heat through.
