CURRY 
Chicken, beef, lamb, deer, or pork (servings for 4 people)
3 lbs. diced beef (1/2 inch)
1 bell pepper, diced
1 big onion, diced
1 bay leaf
Pinch ground ginger
1 1/2 oz. raisins
1/2 lemon juice
1-2 clove garlic
4 oz. picante, hot or mild
1 1/2 oz. curry powder

Brown beef and remove from pan. Add pepper and onions and brown. Then add meat, bell pepper, onions, and remaining ingredients to a saucepan. Cover with stock or water. Bring to boil, then gently simmer 1 1/2 hours. Serve with plain boiled rice.
