MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN 
4 qts. popped corn
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Place popped corn in large paper grocery bag. (Don't pop in oil or salt.) In one quart measuring bowl mix together: brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt. Cook 2 minutes on high, stir. Cook 2 minutes more on high. Add baking soda to hot syrup and stir until mixture foams and thickens. Pour over corn in bag. Shake well. Fold top of bag down and close and cook as follows:

1 1/2 minutes on high - shake.

1 1/2 minutes on high - shake.

45 seconds on high - shake.

30 seconds on high - shake.

Spread on dry surface to cool. Store in airtight container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
