INDIAN BEAN BREAD 
4 c. cornmeal
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. cooked beans
2 c. boiling water

Put cornmeal in bowl, mix in drained beans. Hollow out a hole and put in soda and water. Make dough stiff enough to form balls. Drop ball into a pot of boiling water. Cook about 45 minutes or until done. Is good served with cooked greens and pork.
