CREAMY CHICKEN PAPRIKA | |
1 tbsp. olive or vegetable oil 1 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. chopped garlic 1 sm. onion, chopped 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, pounded thin 2 c. water 1/2 c. milk 1 pkg. noodles and Romanoff sauce 1 jar (4 1/2 oz.) sliced mushrooms 1/2 tsp. paprika In a large skillet, heat oil and butter; add garlic and onion and cook over medium high heat for about 1/2 minute. Add chicken and cook until done. Remove chicken and keep it warm. Add water and milk to skillet and bring just to the boiling point. Stir in noodles and Romanoff sauce, mushrooms and paprika. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender, about 8 minutes. Arrange over warm chicken. Makes 4 servings. |
