1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 c. nutmeats
2 eggs
1 tbsp. melted shortening
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. raisins
1 c. sour cream

Measure dry ingredients; add shortening, eggs and cream. Stir only enough to blend well. Add raisins and nutmeats. Put in greased pan; bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. You may cover cake batter with marshmallows and sprinkle with 1/4 cup brown sugar if you like.
