2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

1. Mix sugar, flour and cocoa in bowl.

2. In saucepan bring butter and water to boil.

3. Pour over flour mixture while still hot.

4. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla; mix well.

5. Bake at 400 degrees in greased and floured pan, 17 1/2 x 11 1/2 inch about 20 minutes.

FUDGE ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Bring to boil 1 stick butter and 4 tablespoons cocoa and milk. Take off stove. Add confectioners' sugar, vanilla and nuts. Spread while cake is still hot.
