ONE-DISH CHICKEN AND RICE | |
1 c. dry reg. rice 1 fryer, cut up 1 envelope dry onion soup mix 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 c. water Sprinkle rice over bottom of large, flat baking dish or pan. Place chicken in a single layer over the rice. Do not season. Sprinkle onion soup mix over all. Mix mushroom soup and water and pour over rice, chicken and onion soup mix. Lift each piece of chicken to let liquid seep under each. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until chicken is tender. |
