LAYERED SALAD 
1 lg. head lettuce
1 head cauliflower
2 lg. onions, chopped
5 or 6 carrots, grated
1 or 2 bell peppers, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 bottle bacon bits
1 bag frozen green peas
1 pkg. Good Seasons Dry Italian salad dressing mix
Grated cheddar cheese
Hellmann's mayonnaise
Sugar

Shred lettuce (set aside). Break cauliflower and sit aside. Chop and grate onions, carrots, bell peppers and celery. Put in separate bowls. Starting with lettuce on bottom, make a layer of lettuce, layer cauliflower, carrots, onions, peppers, celery, peas and bacon bits. Repeat until all vegetables are used up. Cover with Hellmann's mayonnaise. Close sides with mayonnaise. Sprinkle Good Season Italian over top. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons sugar over that. Cover that with grated cheddar cheese. Refrigerate.
