POTATO QUICHE | |
24 oz. frozen hash brown potatoes (thawed) 1/2 c. onions 1/2 c. ham 1/2 c. cream (may use Half and Half) 1/3 c. butter 1 c. Jack cheese 1 c. Cheddar cheese 2 eggs 1 tsp. seasoning salt Melt butter. Retain 2 tablespoons. Pour butter into 9 inch pie pan. Press thawed potatoes into pan to form a crust. Brush remaining butter on top of hash browns. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes until golden brown. Add cheeses, onions, and ham to crust. Beat together eggs, cream and salt. Pour over cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes; until knife inserted comes out clean. You can use any ingredients you prefer. |
