ASPARAGUS WITH SAUCE 
2 lb. asparagus
1/4 c. sour cream
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. lemon peel shredded
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. milk, optional

Wash and scrape off scales from asparagus. Place in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam until tender about 8 to 10 minutes. While asparagus is cooking prepare sauce.

In small saucepan combine sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon peel and juice. Stir in enough milk to make the right consistency. Heat over low heat until hot. Do not boil. Serve over asparagus.
