GLAZED NUTS 
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. hot water
1/4 tsp. salt

Combine ingredients in saucepan and pour on high heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Cook to hard crack stage, 290 degrees. Remove from fire and place in a pan of hot water while dipping nuts. Use tweezers or dipping fork to dip nuts. Place on waxed paper.
