CHOCOLATE CORNMEAL COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. cocoa

Mix butter and sugar in large bowl. Add egg and beat well. Add remainder of ingredients and mix well. Drop dough from a teaspoon onto a greased baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes until light browned. Remove to wire rack to let cool.
