1 lb. butter 1 (8 oz.) pkg. creamed cottage cheese 4 c. flour 1 can cherry pie filling (can use any fruit - apple, blueberry, etc.) Put cheese in blender and blend until smooth. Add flour and butter. Mix with hands until well blended and dough forms a ball. Put in a greased bowl and store, covered, in refrigerator overnight. Roll out like pie dough. Cut into 4-5 inch wedges or squares. Place small amount of pie filling on center of wedge. Cover with another wedge and seal the edges. Bake at 375 degrees until nicely browned (about 1/2 hour). Frost with powdered sugar frosting when cool. |
