CHRISTMAS SWEET BREAD 
2 pkgs. action dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water

1/2 c. lukewarm milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs

Add water and yeast. Add 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, beat until smooth. Add 2 additional cups flour, knead 5 minutes. Put in greased bowl and let rise for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Push down, divide into 3 balls. Roll out. Sprinkle with nuts, cinnamon and brown sugar. Roll into a tea ring and bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Drizzle with icing. Add cherries for decoration.
