1 c. milk
1/4 c. flour
Pinch of salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla

In saucepan mix flour and salt. Add milk gradually stirring constantly until thick. Set aside to cool to room temperature. In mixing bowl beat sugar and Crisco until very fluffy. Add flour mixture and vanilla. Beat at high speed until thick and creamy.
