SOUR CREAM APPLE PIE 
1 unbaked pie shell
6-7 apples
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

TOPPING:

1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
butter, if desired

Core, peel and slice apples and place in pie shell. Mix flour, sugar, cloves, cinnamon and sour cream. Pour over apples. Mix cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over top. Dot lightly with butter, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.

This is a favorite of DeGiovanni "kids" especially.
