MAM-MA'S CHOCOLATE PIE 
2 eggs (well beaten)
2 c. milk (1 sm. can Carnation - rest whole milk)
1 c. sugar
Pinch salt
2 tbsp. cocoa (heaping)
2 tbsp. (scant) cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. butter

Pour milk into saucepan with eggs. Mix all dry ingredients. Stir into milk and egg mixture. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Stir constantly. (May be a bit lumpy or grainy.) Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter. Cool well and pour into large cooled pie shell. Top with whipped cream. Serve well chilled.
