UNSTUFFED "STUFFED" CABBAGE 
1 sm. head cabbage
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 c. water
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese

1. Chop cabbage into medium pieces; spread in bottom of a greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish.

2. Brown meat and onion. Stir in rice, salt and pepper. Spread mixture over cabbage.

3. Heat tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes and water to boiling. (I blend these in blender first.) Pour over meat and cabbage. Sprinkle with cheese.

4. Cover tightly and bake for 1 1/2 hours in preheated 350 degree oven. Fluff before serving.
