BECHAMEL SAUCE | |
2 tablespoonfuls of butter 1 egg yolk 1/2 cup of milk 1 teaspoon pepper 1 tablespoon flour 1/2 cup stock 1/2 teaspoon salt Rub the butter and flour together. In a saucepan, melt the butter mixture, whisk in the stock and the milk, stirring until boiling. Add the salt and pepper, remove from heat and add the beaten egg yolk. Heat over hot water in a double boiler for several minutes, or heat in a microwave briefly to finish cooking. Submitted by: CM |
