TEXAS CAKE AND FROSTING 
CAKE:

1 stick butter
1/2 c. oil
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

For cake - melt and bring to boil the butter, oil, cocoa and water. Mix dry ingredients in bowl. Add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Add the melted ingredients. Beat 2 minutes. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour in pan and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

FROSTING:

2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

For frosting - Place powdered sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl. Boil butter, milk, and cocoa. Pour over powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Pour over warm cake.
