SOUR CREAM APPLE PIE 
1 crust pie shell
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped, pared apples
1/4 tsp. salt

CRUMB TOPPING:

1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter

Line 9" pie pan with pie crust. Combine flour, salt and sugar. Add the sour cream, egg and vanilla to the flour mixture. Beat until smooth, mix in the apples. Bake this for 15 minutes at 425 degrees. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes longer. Remove from oven and add the crumb topping. Bake for an additional 10 minutes at 400 degrees.

TOPPING: Combine the dry ingredients. Cut in the butter until it's the size of small peas.
