SOAP BALLS | |
1 c. Ivory Snow powdered soap 1 tbsp. cold water (scant) Food coloring Liquid potpourri scent Mix water, food coloring and scent together. Drop small amount into soap to see approximately color you will get. If color is correct, pour the rest of water mixture into soap. Stir mixture with spoon until blended. Next knead with hands (in bowl). Mixture will be sticky at first, but it will become smooth after kneading. Shape into balls, or flatten and use cookie cutters for a fun shape. Candy molds may also be used but should be sprayed with Pam first. These amounts are for double batch of soap. Peach: 2 drops yellow, 1/8 tsp. red Moss green: 1/8 tsp. green Light rose: 1/4 tsp. red, 2 small drops blue Dark rose: 1/2 tsp. red, 2 small drops blue Red rose: 1/2 tsp. red Light blue: Approx. 1/8 tsp. blue Dark blue: 1/4 tsp. blue, 4 drops red, 2 drops yellow. |
