TURKEY FRAME SOUP 
1 meaty turkey frame
1 onion, quartered
3 tomatoes, quartered or 16 oz. can tomatoes, cut up
1 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
8 c. fresh vegetables (and a combination of uncooked sliced celery, sliced carrot, chopped onions, chopped rutabaga, sliced mushrooms, chopped broccoli and cauliflowerets)
3 c. uncooked noodles

Place turkey frame in large pot with onion, water and 4 teaspoons salt. Bring to boiling, reduce heat and simmer, covered, 1 1/2 hours. Remove frame, cool until it can be handled. Remove meat from bones; discard bones. Add turkey meat, tomatoes, thyme and oregano to broth. Stir in vegetables. Bring to boiling; cover; simmer 45 minutes. Add noodles. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes. (Serves 12.)
