BUTTERMILK CUSTARD PIE 
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar
3 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 stick butter
Nutmeg

Beat eggs and vanilla, mix cornstarch and sugar. Add to eggs. Add buttermilk and butter. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Place oven on 425 degrees. Reduce heat after placing pie inside to 350 degrees. Bake 30 tp 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean one inch from the edge.
