MUNNER'S INDIAN MEAL PUDDING 
1 qt. scalded milk
5 tbsp. corn meal
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. molasses
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. cold milk

We use 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon ginger and nutmeg; both as well as 1/2 cup of raisins.

Add corn meal gradually to the scalded milk in a double boiler, stir constantly, and then cook 20 minutes. Add butter, molasses, seasonings and eggs. Turn out into a buttered pudding dish and pour the cup of cold milk over the mixture. Bake about an hour in moderate oven (350 degrees). Serve hot or cold with hard sauce or vanilla ice cream.
