Melt in a double boiler over hot water: 2 tbsp. whipping cream

Scatter thickly in bottom of pan:

Let caramel mixture cool a few minutes, then drop spoonfuls of the caramel over the nuts, letting the nuts stick out around the caramel. Let stand until firm, then cover or dip each piece with chocolate. If covering, let the tips of the nuts show.
