DATE NUT BARS 
2 eggs
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. oil
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 c. pitted, chopped dates
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs until light. Add sugar and oil. Blend well. Add sifted dry ingredients. Add nuts, dates and vanilla. Pour into greased 9"x9" pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Cut into small bars and roll in sugar. Good at Christmas.
