FRESH PEACH ROLL 
1 c. flour
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk (sweet)
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3-4 fresh peaches, sliced
1 stick butter
2 c. water

Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut shortening into flour mixture; add milk and stir to mix. Work and roll out as for pie crust. Sprinkle cinnamon over dough and spread fresh peaches over dough. Roll like jelly roll and slice dough. Melt butter in baking pan, place rolls cut side up. Mix sugar and water and bring to a boil. Pour over rolls. Bake 30 minutes at 400 degrees.
