1 c. granulated sugar
2 sticks butter
1 c. Wesson oil
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking powder
4-1/2 c. all-purpose flour

Cream sugar, butter, and oil. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture. Shape dough into balls using a teaspoon of dough for each cookie. Place on a greased cookie sheet and gently press down with hand.

Bake at 325°F for 15 minutes.

Yield: 6-8 dozen.
