2 c. flour 1 c. salt 2 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. cream of tartar 2 c. water with food coloring added 2 tbsp. oil Mix well before cooking in a heavy pan. Use a wire whip and cook over medium heat. Stir until mixture forms ball and pulls away from sides of the pan. Knead. Allow to cool slightly. Store in airtight container. Soak pan to clean. Makes a ball the size of a softball. |
