SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS
2 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste (Hunts)
1 med. size onion, chopped fine
1/4 green pepper, chopped fine
3 tbsp. cooking oil
2 chicken cubes
1 heaping tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 (8 oz.) can Parmesan grated cheese
Garlic salt
Water (fill each tomato paste can 3 times)

Combine tomato paste with water and place on low heat. Saute in saucepan onion, green pepper, and oil (as green pepper can over power the taste, you may want to cut down on the amount). Add this to the sauce along with the chicken cubes, sugar, and parsley flakes. Cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours. After cooking add about 1 cup of grated cheese (very amount to your liking) and garlic salt to taste. (Remember to stir thoroughly often to prevent settling and scorching.)

MEATBALLS:

1 lb. ground meat
1 egg
1 sm. finely chopped onion
1/4 green pepper
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. Parmesan grated cheese
6-7 slices white bread

Mix all ingredients except for bread. Wet bread, squeeze out water, tear bread apart and add to rest of mixture. Form into balls and drop into completed sauce. Cook for about 3 hours.
