UPSIDE DOWN GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE | |
1 box German chocolate cake mix 12 oz. cream cheese 1 box powdered sugar 1 3/4 sticks butter, melted & cooled 1 c. coconut 6 oz. chopped pecans Butter 9"x13" cake pan and sprinkle coconut and nuts on bottom of pan. Mix cake mix as directed on box and pour in pan. In bowl mix softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and butter. Use electric mixer. Carefully spread cream cheese mixture over top of cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or longer. Let cool about 1 hour. Run knife around cake. Flip upside down on flat surface. |
