CHOCOLATE BUTTERMILK COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. white flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine wet ingredients. Sift dry ingredients. Mix together and chill dough. Roll into small balls. Bake at 400 degrees on lightly oiled sheets. Frost with a mint frosting. Good Christmas cookie.
