CABBAGE & BACON CASSEROLE | |
Fry 10 pieces of bacon. Remove from the pan and add to the grease from the bacon the following: 2 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 c. half & half or milk Cook last 4 ingredients until s lightly thickened. Cut into slaw 1 or 2 heads cabbage, depending on size. Put in buttered casserole and pour over the top and down through the cabbage. Place crumbled bacon on top and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes to an hour or until cabbage is done. |
