HOT PEPPER RELISH 
2 qts. vinegar
6 onions
2 doz. bell peppers (red & green)
Salt
1/4 med. cabbage
2 pkgs. mixed pickling spices
Celery seed to taste
Sugar to taste
Sm. hot peppers (1 pt. plus)

Grind peppers. Let stand covered with salt 10 minutes. Then rinse salt off. Put vinegar, sugar to taste, salt, spices (in cloth bag), celery seed and bring to a boil. Let simmer for about 1 hour then add peppers, continue to simmer about 30 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
