PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. pineapple juice

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with liquid. Prepare 9"x13" pan. 1 c. brown sugar #2 can pineapple

Mix and spread on bottom of pan. Pour cake batter over pineapple mix. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool. After 5 minutes turn upside down and remove.
