NEW YORK CHEESECAKE 
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, melted
1 c. sugar, divided
2 lb. cream cheese
2 lg. eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sour cream

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix graham cracker crumbs, butter and 2 tablespoons sugar. Press onto bottom and sides of a greased 9 inch springform pan. Chill while preparing filling.

In a mixer bowl, beat cream cheese and remaining sugar until smooth and light. Beat in eggs, vanilla and cornstarch. Stir in sour cream.
