RICE PUDDING 
1 scant c. rice
1 pt. half and half milk
1 pt. 2% milk

Cook in double boiler on low heat until thick, about 2 hours, stirring occasionally. A few raisins may be added a few minutes before it is done. Remove from stove and add 3/4 cup sugar. Pour into bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon and small bits of butter.
