MOCK INDIAN PUDDING | |
2 slightly beaten eggs 1/2 c. light molasses 1/4 c. sugar 1 tbsp. butter, melted 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. ground cloves 3 c. milk 4 c. corn flakes, coarsely crushed 1 pt. vanilla ice cream Combine eggs, molasses, sugar, butter, cinnamon, salt and cloves; mix well. Stir in milk and corn flakes. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Place in shallow pan on oven rack; pour hot water into pan until 1" deep. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Serve warm, topped with ice cream. Makes 6 servings. |
