POPPY SEED CAKE 
Yellow cake mix
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/4 c. poppy seeds

Mix cake as directed on package. Add poppy seeds (more if desired) and almond flavoring. Bake according to directions.

FROSTING:

2 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. soft butter
3/4 tsp. almond extract
Hot coffee

Combine softened butter, sugar, and almond extract. Mix well. Add hot coffee sufficient to make a smooth frosting. Frost cake.
