1/2 c. soft butter
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts
1 sm. pkg. chocolate chips

Mix butter and sugars together. Beat in egg and vanilla. Then add dry ingredients and nuts. Spread in a long pan. Sprinkle chips over top. Place in oven 1 minute. Remove and stir to marblize. Return to oven at 375 degrees for 10-14 minutes.
