CANNED SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1/2 bushel tomatoes
3 c. onions, chopped
2 c. green pepper, chopped
4 hot peppers
4 tbsp. garlic juice
4 tbsp. basil
4 tbsp. oregano
2 c. oil
1/2 c. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste

Peel tomatoes and mix all ingredients together. Bring to a boil; turn down heat and simmer, covered, for 1 hour, stirring occasionally (oil will come to the top until tomato paste is added).

Add paste, bring to boil; boil for 5 minutes. Put in sterilized hot jars and seal. Yield: 11 quarts.
