1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 c. packed light brown sugar

Cream shortening and sugar. Separate 2 eggs. Beat 1 egg and 2 egg yolks into sugar mixture. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to creamed mixture; blend thoroughly. Spread in 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle nuts, chocolate pieces and marshmallows over batter. Beat egg whites until stiff; fold in brown sugar. Spread over marshmallow mixture. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes. Cut into bars.
